THE
WESTBEACH WARRANTY


WESTBEACH APPAREL CANADA LTD . LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY.

WESTBEACH APPAREL CANADA LTD (WESTBEACH) WARRANTS THAT ITS FAMILY OF PRODUCTS WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE.

If a product is found defective by Westbeach, in its sole discretion, Westbeach's only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. If Westbeach is unable to repair or replace the particular product, refund the purchase price.

EXTENT OF WARRANTY:

The warranty applies only to Westbeach products purchased from an authorized Westbeach dealer and applies only to the original purchaser and lasts only as long as such purchaser continues to own the product.

1. All products returned to Westbeach for warranty inspection must receive prior authorization, which can be given over the phone by our customer service department (Dealers only). All products must be shipped pre-paid and insured. Westbeach assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to Westbeach's Warranty Department. Shipping charges are not refundable. Westbeach does not accept customer returns, you must go through an authorized Westbeach dealer, preferably where you purchased the product.

2. Excluded from coverage under this limited warranty are the following:
a. Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
b. Normal wear and tear.
c. Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship.
d. Damage caused by adhesives, cleaning materials, or waterproofing chemicals.
e. Damage to Westbeach products by Non-Westbeach products.
f. Damage caused by failure to follow care instruction.

3. All coverage under this limited warranty is void if any modification, change, or alteration has been made to the product that is not specifically authorized in writing by Westbeach.

4. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original limited warranty only.

5. The original purchase receipt must accompany all warranty claims from an Authorized Westbeach Dealer. Invoices or charge receipts must clearly identify the dealer.

6. Westbeach disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied.

WESTBEACH APPAREL CANADA LTD'S RESPONSIBILITY UNDER THIS, OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, IMPLIED OR EXPRESS, IS LIMITED TO REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND, AS SET FORTH ABOVE. THESE REMEDIES ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY. WESTBEACH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

GARMENT WARRANTY:

What is covered?
- Defective Sewing
- Defective Zippers
- Velcro Patches and/or snaps
- Missing or broken drawstrings, cords
- Defective fabrics

What is not covered?
- Rips and tears
- Fading (this includes UV damage)
- Pilling
- Shrinking
- Damage (including color bleeding and loss of waterproof qualities) resulting from improper washing or the use of improper detergents.nbsp;&nbsp.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A WARRANTY CLAIM.

We here at Westbeach, want to make sure that your riding experience is a positive one, and that our products continue to bring you comfort and joy, so if for strange reason something does go wrong with your Westbeach product, please follow the procedures below. WE WANT TO KEEP YOU RIDING!

If you experience any problems with your Westbeach product(s) that you think would be covered under our limited warranty policy, then please read on…

EVALUATE THE PRODUCT
- Was the product purchased in the last 12 months?
- Does the damage appear to be attributable to defective material or workmanship?
- Does the damage appear to be due to abuse, negligence, or reactions to heat, solvents or harsh detergents?

** DEALERS - DO NOT SEND THE CUSTOMER TO OUR OFFICES - WE WILL NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM DIRECTLY **

BRING THE PRODUCT TO THE STORE WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED
Or call for a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Dealer's call: in Canada (1-800-387-8236) in the US (1-877-937-8232) in Europe (+43 512 27 6966).
- Tell us what you are sending back-describe the product.
- Tell us why you are sending it back-describe the problem.
- Record the RA# and details in a log.
- Let us know if it is a priority or not (we want to keep you riding!)

PACK AND SHIP THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY
- Include the original proof of purchase (receipt) - photocopies ok.
- Include a brief description of the problem and the RA#, INCLUDE YOUR ADDRESS, PHONE # and EMAIL.
- Print the RA # clearly on the outside of the box.

Customers are responsible for shipping charges to Westbeach. Overnight and 2-day shipments will be returned in the same manner at our expense.

OUR 96 HOUR TURNAROUND GOES INTO EFFECT ONCE WE RECEIVE THE PRODUCT (N.A. Only)
Within 96 hours of receipt of product, the claim will be handled in one of the following ways:
- If returned product is within the valid warranty period of one year and judged by Westbeach to be defective, we will repair, replace or credit (Dealers Only) the product. The warranty remains valid for the balance of one year from the original date of purchase. Warranties on Credited items become null and void, once credit is issued.
- If the problem is determined to be not covered under warranty but can be repaired, we will call with a quote, and to get authorization to make the repair. These repairs will need to be paid for before garment is repaired and shipped back by credit card.
- If the problem is neither covered under warranty nor repairable, the product will be returned as is, to the address given to us by you. Street addresses are required. We cannot ship to PO boxes.
